 On March 7, 2009 Wagg'n Tails Labradors attended the Kingsmill Chapter of Ducks Unlimited 30th Anniversary Dinner and Auction. Proceeds of the auction are used for Ducks Unlimited projects supporting conservation of wetlands, wildlife habitat, and improving water quality. We at Wagg'n Tails support the goals of Ducks Unlimited and donated a black male lab from our breeding of "Wagg'n Tails Handsome Samson" and "Wagg'n Tails Dona Chamaigne." Dogs with impeccable AKC Hunt Test/Field Trial Pedigrees (see our dogs). The pup sold at auction for $1,200.00. He brought the second highest price for the 35 items auctioned that night. A Berretta White Onyx Over/Under Shotgun with a reserve price of $1,200.00, was the only item to bring in more money for Ducks Unlimited. The new owners called us to say they are very happy with their new addition and the day after the auction, and without hesitation the pup was retrieving waterfowl dummies from the river. We hope this pup, like his legacy, becomes a great waterfowl dog. He is off to a great start. |
